I am hoping someone can help me ID the component in the attached photos. It is right above the "POWER" label. I can't tell if it is an inductor or transformer. It's all that is keeping my CG02 from working.

    Thanks in advance.

I will take a look. I would think its an inductor thats used as a tank. Maybe it used to helps with interference. But i will look.

What is it not doing? Not powering up?

Thanks for checking. You are correct, it fails to power up. It has 4 contacts. ImageUploadedByYuneec-Forum.com1465701701.130112.jpg
I've attached a photo that shows the small wires sticking out of the remains of the part. I couldn't puzzle out how the all went.

It seems to be a 2 turn choke. Does not mater top or bottom. The turns are the same length.
It's there to cancel any noise from Motors and such. The coil is used with components on the other side of the board.

Hopefully if you contact Yuneec they can give component values so you can find it at an electronics supply shop or online.

Like most Manufacturers, only the engineers can get the values. As many (me included) you cant even get the main board never-mind a part on the board. Ask Yuneec for the Slide Resistor part number?

If you give the size and shape to like Digi Key, they may find it.

What happened to the good old days when you could get a schematic or order a service manual on your equipment with every component identified, values listed, NPN, PNP, transistors, IC's diodes, resistors, capacitors, etc.... now they just throw away the board and don't troubleshoot each individual part and replace the whole thing... guess because of all the surface mount components and miniaturization of things....

Thank you so much, David H! I will try Yuneec, but will also start sleuthing at Digikey and Mouser. I'll let y'all know how it goes. It may be a week or two until I can get back to it, though. At least now the worse case is I pull out the magnifying lens and try putting new windings on it. Again, thank you very, very much!!!!!

My gimbal is once again operational! Big thanks to David H for the component ID and function explanation and for advice from David CLTX.
