Sorry about writing in english in this forum, but my italian is limited to making an order at a restaurant and counting to hundred... :)

I going to visit Your lovely country in a couple of weeks (going to Calabria), and are planning on bringing my Q500 4K.

My question: What are the rules for flying in Italy?

I have searched the internet, but haven't found an easy to understand overview of the italian rules and regulations. Can anyone in here point my in a direction (link, image or similar)!

    Grazie mille!

Hi Lennart. If you want to fly in Italy for hobby, you must:

Not to fly over people or houses or third party properties, and not over 70m high.
You have to be minimum 5km far from airports.
Drone can't go far over 200m from you, and you can't fly in FPV, you must ever have the possibility to see your drone. You can't fly during the night.

    Buon viaggio!
