Finally got around to getting the zealheli q500 frame kit put together that I had won from CarolinaDronz. Thanks Frank Farray.
I made a few mistakes along the way but tested it out today and it flew pretty well with strong winds. Did not notice the stickers where on backwards on the canopy till it was together LOL, Going to be a long winter I can redo that [IMG]:)

Thats the GoPro gimbal from a Typhoon G and the camera is a GoPro knock Off called Git2. Works great. All of this afternoon I have run 4 batteries through the rebuild with no camera just to make sure nothing goes wrong, so far all perfect flights. I'm very happy with the results.

Lots of take offs and lots of landings, just making sure it flies OK. This video it flew great. Next battery not so great.
Seems to be a compass or GPS problem. I have the GPS mounted the newer way recommended by CarolinaDronz but I still don't feel comfortable to put a camera on this yet.

I really like this intro page! The worst part of this video is the snowblower in the bottom left hand corner! Today and tomorrow it is supposed to be +15 in good old Winterpeg. trouble is it will probably be windy.

    LOL
Yup knowing we could get snow by the end of the month I thought I should drag it out of starage and give it a good tune up. Good thing I did as I found a cracked gas line that needed replacing. Better to get it into shape when its warm out :)
