    Hi.
To check batteries you need an internal resistance tester like this:

Some chargers have this option too, like skyrc Q200.
Regarding new batteries, I suggest you to buy Cameron Sino brand, i got two of them and I can fly my chroma for 20 minutes each.
    You can find them here:

Don't buy Gifi Power batteries, they have very bad quality and puffs after few recharge cycles.
    This from my experience.

Thanks for the reply, I will take a look at them, my batteries are the original ones from Horizon, even tho their a few yrs old now, they have not been charged that many times, you gotta question the quality of them , I paid around £120 each , this chroma is a new one, had to replace after a fly away, so bit reluctant to take up with a questionable battery, their still showing 11.35v on a tester , but flash up red in under 2 mins on the drone

Everything depends how you left the batteries while non in use.
They should be kept in "storage" (3,8 volts/cell) and recharged every 3 months also if not used, then put back in storage.
If you leave batteries fully charged or leave them discharging for long time they will be damaged and no way to recovery.
If batteries comes with the new drone, they could be old.
Don't fly with these batteries, replace.
(Sorry if my English is not perfect, I'm Italian...)

I recently got one from uk ebay and a little later 1 from uk amazon for around £68. The price appears to vary a lot.
