Caution New H520 Owners

    If you are thinking about buying A CGOET for your H520 please understand until Yuneec comes out with a firmware upgrade for the CGOET it will not work with the H520
    In the videos from Yuneec in Interdrone they had commented on several occasions that they would release another version of the CGOET camera compatible with the H520. It has also been indicated that they will release a firmware upgrade to make the "old" model compatible as well. The fact is that they have not yet released either a new model or the firmware.

    Good post. Statements from Yuneec about the existing CGO-ET have been very conflicting. At this time there is no known soft/firmware upgrade to make it compatible with the 520. If you are looking to buy a 520 for thermal imagery you would be wise to hold off making a purchase until Yuneec releases a tested and proven thermal camera that works with the 520.

    I should have read this before buying my H520 with CGO-ET. Last news : no firmware, but a new model of thermal cam. Availability ? End of the year, perhaps...
    My reseller has refund the CGO-ET's purchase, but I wanted the H520 for thermal imagery.
    Sad.
