C-GO3 CGO3+ firmware shows 2.0.07A...won't update to 2.4

    Hi everyone,
    I have a Typhoon H, and I have a CGO3+ attached to it. I also have a CGO3, but currently the + plus is on the drone.

    My question is, how do I update the camera's firmware? I have downloaded the "cgo3gb_2.4.00_A_firmware.bin", placed it on a fat32 formatted micro sd card, inserted it into the camera, and then powered the unit on. I've let the unit sit for 10 minutes, but nothing seems to be occurring as the drone is powered on, the camera has a green light, and the version still shows 2.0.07A.

    The CGO3 camera shows the latest version when connected to the drone.

    Both the CGO3 and CGO3+ work, but neither cameras pan up/down/left/right. Does this sound like a bad camera or just a firmware issue?

    I think you are trying to update the CGo3+. "cgo3gb_2.4.00_A_firmware.bin" is CGo3 firmware. It will not load on the CGo3+ at all.

    Hardware issue. Maybe in both cameras. Maybe just in the drone. It is not likely firmware. The CGo3 does not have any manual pan, of course. It should have a little bit of pan movement for automatic image stabilization. If both cameras are lacking Pitch (up/down), it sounds like a bad connection in one of the two wires that carry the signals needed for manual control. You can trace the circuit using this document:

    Thank you so much for your help. I will give that a shot to see if I can get the update to take as well as see if there is a connection issue with wiring.
