I ran into this problem. Come to find out...you need to connect to an older USB port. In other words...if you look at your USB port and it is "blue"...it's not going to work.

My problem was the SD card. I put in a class 10 SD card and it finally connected to my PC. ST10 must be turned on and fully booted before installing USB cable

FYI, if you don't have an SD card installed in your ST10, your PC won't see anything.

FAIR WARNING! DOING THE NEXT STEPS CAN TAKE YOU TO PLACES WHERE CAN EASILY FUBAR YOUR FLIGHT CONTROL!!!
To find debug mode, System Settings:About Flight Mode Control. Then tap fast and repeatedly on the Android Version (about 7 to 10 times). A window will open. Select Developer Option, then USB debugging.

Format the SD card for ST10 (+) with FAT or FAT32. This Windows-specific exFAT will not proper work with Andriod. I have had the same issue. Formated both SD cards with exFAT and ST10 did not export it via USB interface. With CGO3 the exFAT works proper, but not with ST10. Since I have the FAT32 formated SD card in, it works with Win10 as well as with Win7.

The SD card may be also an old, poor one. This enough for Telemetry and downstreamed video. 2GB is good for some years...

For me it was the cable. Now I only have to run through the forum to find a software to use for the flight data (the excel file is not so reader friendly as it is).
