neat, but does it still fly normally with the extra weight of the paint ? Any impact on cooling ?

I would NEVER paint over the GPS antenna unless I was totally sure there was no RAM of any type in the paint, or any metallic component. Something as simple as a leaf can effect GPS reception! Also your antennas are in the legs so same warning.

When you are depending on the VERY low power WiFi in you phone to communicate anything in the way is detrimental. Better to be overly cautious then out $399 for a replacement.

That isn't paint on the gps module. It's alcohol ink........all good. Have flow many many times in gps mode since painting. Have never had a problem

And by the way ,I'm a 43 year old engineer , I think I'm qualified to paint a selfie drone. I do nothing but research before any project. And viking, you would rather spend $500 or more to paint your car vs $10 to paint a drone...??

I don't like red cars, it looks a little bit girlish. ;-)
