I can’t connect to my Breeze 4K, it’s not putting out any WiFi signal. The front LED is solid white. The power button LED runs as normal. I get the usual beeps then I turn it on, then another beep between 1-3 minutes later. I’ve tried connecting it to my pc but it just says the device is malfunctioning. A reset via the button next to the usb porn doesn’t do anything.

This happened after a firmware update. First flight after, I was testing it indoors, it died mid flight and fell a couple of feet but I caught it.

I suspect it’s bricked after a problem with the firmware update. If I were to replace the main pcb would this fix it, is the firmware stored on the board?

FYI for anyone who has a similar problem, my drone is now fine, I didn't need to replace anything. I was convinced I'd brick'd it with a bad firmware upgrade but as one last desperate try at fixing it I left it overnight without a battery in and pressed the power button a few time to try to drain all the power.

I came back to it this morning, put the battery in and it powered up and it put out a wifi signal, connected and flew fine.

I'm pretty sure it was something to do with the firmware update not applying properly because when I was able to connect to the breeze it was still showing as needing the firmware update. I've applied it, restarted it and its flying fine now.

So In short, if you have the issues I described then take the battery out, hold down the power button for few seconds then leave it for a few hour or overnight and say a few prayers to Offler the crocodile headed god. Then put it back together and give it a try.
