Even though I am not 100% impressed (compared to my CGO2+) with the photo quality (however, post production DNG is nice) coming from my Typhoon H and the CGO3+, I am able to get a few usable images now and again.

Living on the Great Lakes in Wisconsin you get to see the best sunrises around and a little action on the water once in a while. Here is an image I took of a paddle boarder last week when the swell picked up a bit in a "secret" spot.

The waves are small, but when this happens, they crawl out from under rocks to race to the lake for a good time. They enjoy the drone and the videos that are made of the action.

You are the first person to post the truth about the CGO3+.
I have been saying for ever show me some video, pictures of something better then I can do with my CGO3. They all try, some come close but none have shown me anything better.
Still flying my Q500 and loving it. Camera on the Typhoon H sucks big time.
Everyone who has one just wants to justify the cost. Show me something that's going to blow me away............has not happened yet.
    Keep trying :)

Is the cgo3+ worse than the cgo3? Maybe I should be using my cgo2?

The very first camera that Yuneec came out with was the CGO2. It had fisheye videos and photos but quality was great.
Cgo2+ has to much yellow in the videos, saturation big time.
Cgo3 is close to the Cgo3+ in the right hands.
Most people using the CGO3+ have no idea how to use it.

I LOVED the quality of EVERYTHING that came from my CGO2+ on my Q500+ when I had it. Upgrading to the Typhoon H has been great, but I am a photographer on the ground so not having great photos from the air is bothersome. Not really sure what Yuneec did here with the newest camera, but in my experience, it was a step back.

Its going to be tough. The only thing I can say about the CGO3+ is that in bright light it does produce well. This photo was in cloudy conditions. Part of me wishes I could replace my CGO3+ with the CGO2+ in addition to the 360* gimbal.

He says a CGO2+, A camera, unless flown side by side by a Pro in same settings will be only comparison. I don't think anything Yuneec makes as far as camera's are better than the other models they have as of yet!

Maybe you 2+ lens is out of adjustment from the factory? As my CGO3+ on my Pro is great for a Yuneec camera

It is possible that my lens is out of whack, but I am talking more about the over quality of the image taken, not just the focus.
Do you have photo examples with your CGO3+ that you could share?

Are we expecting too much from these cameras? I paid more for 1 lens for my dslr than I paid for my Chroma. I'd don't know, maybe we're expecting too much.

I know what you mean in terms of cost related to DSLR and lenses, however, I am just comparing the CGO2+ that was on the Q500+ to my Typhoon H and the CGO3+.

Expectation would be an upgrade from an older model to the newest, I guess. You know, like the older Canon 100-400mm F4.6 I and the newer (upgraded) 100-400mm F4.6 II. That is typically all I ask, but maybe that is too much.

They look great on my PC and even better on my 4K TV, even after edit on PD14, I think it is either YouTube or the way this forum compresses them?

Most were shot in dng/raw and post edited, the video of RS does look grainy, and it was the firs I did in 1080/60, I usually do one of the 4K's and never seen this? Thank you for verifying that this forum needs to get a better resolution on it's uploads! LOL ! Just messing with you my friend!

That one there I like although like all yuneec cameras since they came out with the CGO3 & CGO3+ has the blurry left side. 99.9% of the Yuneec cameras have this problem. Also it very crisp up front but the horizon gets out of focus. This is the big reason everyone is changing out to those after market len's. For me the pictures from the stock CGO3 & CGO3+are good enough looking and I'm not selling anything so its acceptable.
