Hi ST16 owners! My 35 cents advice.
Tested my H last weekend and found that while panning the cam, I had the fear or at least uncomfortable feeling of touching the motor switch. Although it would be fairly unlikely to have depressed it long enough to kill the motors, but that reminded me what other Q500 have done. However, installing the same switch protector on ST16 would require some filings due to the tight space. Nevertheless, it's not rocket science, anyone can do it. With the Dremel's help, mine completed in less than 10 minutes.
And yes, the protector only cost 35 cents in Hong Kong.

I might look into making a couple of shoulders to set on each side of the button. That should also be a low enough profile fit the ST16 back into it's case.

I just plugged the sd card straight in to the ST16 and updated the controller. Worked fine
