    Hi to all you guy's
After a crash a few months ago i had to replace my airframes bottom half.
So i was left with a spare top half.
What to do with it.......i painted it in our national colours of holland.
    See my results.

Excellent job! Nice color combo. All you need now is a small Tiesto logo decal for the best DJ in the world from Breda, Holland. ( Tiƫsto was born Tijs Verwest)
    Looks great!
    :)

Are you going to do the clear coat on just the 3 colors and leave the black as is and just clear coat the colors?
Sure will look nice with the clear over it.

    Don't know yet.....think i leave the cockpit in a black-mat finish.
So only the red-white-blue will be shiny.
Or maby not....i'll think it over this weekend.

I can't remember since it's been a while but did you use just a one coat spray paint without doing the primer coat or used spray primer, then colored sprays? My friend wants his all orange, both halves of frame and just leave the landing gear black.
What brand/type of paint did you use?
I'm doing one for a friend and don't want to mess it up.
Thanks! Hope all is great over your way!

    Hey David...
The paint that i used was a normal spray-paint from the hardwarestore.
The clearcoat was a 2K coating.
First i used a adhesive plastic primer so the paint will stick better.
Than 1 layher of white paint on the whole body.
This will make the red and blue shiny and bright.
Good luck whit your paintjob and send some pics.
    Greetsss Ron.
ps....this is what i did with the Typhoon H....

    Thanks Ron!
I'll go buy that plastic primer spray for sure then! Thank you for that info!
I'll take some pics after I'm done. After I paint it I have to send it off to Frank at Carolina Dronz for him to swap over the electronics from the damaged frame to the new painted one. Hope he doesn't scratch it before he ships to my friend.
He does great work so I'm sure he'll be careful.
I love the look of your new H! It looks great and I bet it is easy to see up in the sky!
Thanks for all the information and the cool pics of your H!
Have a great evening my friend!
    :)
    David

Thats also a very nice colour....
When you put a light-colour like white or yellow as a basecoat, the orange will become more bright.

After I use the plastic primer spray I'm going to use this color, then the clear coat spray with UV protection so I hope it comes out nice for my friend. Snapshot_20170409_2.JPG Snapshot_20170409_3.JPG
