Question? How do we view the .avc files? What application uses those (I am a Mac user) and I cannot seem to find a viewer.

In Windows you can simply force them to be opened in Wimdows Media Player... not a Mac user, sorry.

Please tell me that I do not have to remove the memory card from the ST10(+) in order to access the files on it.

    you don't have to..!
Just connect via USB connector to the ST10+ while it's turned on... the computer will see it as an external periferal and you can access your files.

    See here for more:

    Hope it helps.

There should be no problem to connect via USB even while running Win7, as the movie I linked in my previous message shows.

I agree above you can connect with W7 or W10. Makes no difference which you use.

The ST10 should appear in devices when booted up and then plugged in via USB.

First time you do it give plenty of time for it to go away and find the drivers from the net.
From then on should be instant.

I get a lot of driver issues when I had to reinstall Windows and don't have the original motherboard or vendor disk.

I hope someone understands this. The instructions with the three files contradict instructions here and file type .txt mentioned with the same instructions is not there. Anyway I finally got the 6 additional columns added. Doesn't look right. No column headings for original sheet. That is as far as I got so after 5 hours I gave up.No idea what to do to fix this mess.

Tried to figure what and where the macro is and got nowhere with that either. Is there some place that shows how a completed spreadsheet is supposed to look. I also use Open Office but never encountered anything like this.

If you used open office then did you load the files as Excel xlsm files.?
You also need to ensure that macros run in the file. Most programs default to no macros.
Check your settings as when you load the masterfile into open office it should and must contain the macro.

Thank you, Mrburns. I finally used the files provided on the YouTube video provided by techtiptricks and that took care of the data problem. Now I have to learn how to modify all that to get rid of the chroma key stuff. I don't have the fancy $$ video editing software to remove the blue. I still want to understand exactly the st10+ data needs for modification. I'm sure with the info here I will get a firm grasp before long.

It is just way too cool not to play with.

As fun, neat, cool as it sounds to have telemetry over laid on the video, ( I mean that sincerely) that's just way more time than I'm willing to invest on such frivolousness. Now if someone were to develop an app and sell it, I'd likely buy it. Getting up there in years and my time is way more valuable and I also seem to have deeper pockets since the kiddies moved out and started their own families. Kudos in advanced if someone does build it, "build it and they will come/buy"

Some sort of Canadian law? The only law here in the states is to stay below 400' and that isn't even a law, just a strongly recommended limit by the FAA, no restriction on distance, rule to always fly line of sight is also a strongly recommended limit, certainly not a law.... Yet.

You have both gone way off topic and so I am going to delete these couple of posts as they should be in the AMA thread but with a little less personality :)

You will be able to access them and copy them if you feel its relevant.

    Thanks

I emailed Yuneec about a simpler way, (app) etc to be able to capture telemetry on top of video. Will update when/if they respond.

I nice explanation from Yuneec on what the columns are inside of their CSV File would be helpful. I might be on the Internet but have not found it yet.

I'd like this, also. I opened the file in Excel hoping to see motor RPMs (I thought that would be cool to add gauges for that!) but it wasn't there. However, there's some columns whose meaning I can't divine - anyone know what the following might mean?

    fsk_rssi
    tas
motor_status (this seems to have two values - 3 or 15)
    imu_status (also two values - 97 or 225))
    f_mode (either 3 or 16)

But I'm MOST interested in "error_flags1". It's mostly zero, but sometimes flips to 32. Would love to know what error 32 means.
