The battery that came with my Q500 G, would swell some, when used, but would go back to normal after it set a little while after the flight. Wasn't real bad at first, just noticeable. Thought it was normal, but after a couple months, the swelling didn't go away, was getting shorter flights as well. When the best I could get, was about 12 minutes, I knew it wasn't my flying, or wind conditions. Replaced the stock battery, and just to be sure, bought a better charger as well. Batteries are kind of expensive to replace every two months...

Really not worth squeezing LiPo batteries down to the last breath, when they do decide it's time to die, it's sudden. It either just stops, or possibly catches fire or explodes. Really not something you want to happen in the air, or in your home.
