You guys are amazing!
You might score as a "moron" but I score as a "MORON" (all caps) ... Telemetry files... Are those the ones used on the fingernails or the toenails?
Amazing to see what people can achieve with the telemetry files
You were in Smart Mode, how far were you flying the H from you and the ST16, If you were taking off/landing or flying inside 26 feet, that would perhaps be the reason it slammed into a tree, trying to get out of the safe zone, or what I call "The Twenty six Foot Circle of Death" Just curious as you stated in your 2-3 post"you were hoovering "about" 30' " Could well have been less than 26' as distance is very difficult to calculate and Smart Mode, inside 26 ' crashes probably ranks in the top 10 of new flyer crashes.
From where I was standing I would say it was 40 -50".
Okay! Just curious as you first post stated 30' and that was close, I'm sure you will get her taken care of!
30' was height. I was on my deck it is about 10 off the ground and I could see over the roofline with the camera so that was my guess at height.
BTW: The first flight (Telemetry_00001) was also in China, the well known Yuneec building, not in France. 2 and 3 too, the No 4 is without GPS.
Hi, Luke, read this and become an expert: http://h-elsner.mooo.com/mydat/Q500log2kml_en.pdf
Yup your right, looks like I had a file get mixed up when uploading to exmaps site. Good catch
Lol oops. Oh well, at least that solves that mystery
I crashed mine the second day after buying it. It was my first large drone. It was my fault but yuneec repaired it under warranty for me. The service department was awesome and from the first phone call to mailing it and getting it back was less than 21 days. They didn't charge me any thing.
Hey Mr. Jager, Saw your post about white winter shots. Not sure if you are close to any blue spruce trees, but they can be amazing reflecting on a fresh snow dump. Hopefully you will have a early spring.
That great info on the log files as long a the SD card is in place. Thought the SD was only used to do firmware updates... But was wondering where the log files were on the airframe diagnosis app when doing the firmware update for that? But The tech guys in Ontario mentioned to put a SD in the controller and to use Exmaps.com for reading log files Are you familiar with it?
Yes very familiar. Use it all the time.
[QUOTE"]Have to admit when I was half way looking into drones I tended to lean toward the phantom.[/QUOTE]
I was torn too. One buddy has a H and one a Phantom 4. I got the H and have had two crashes. First was my fault and I waited two months for parts, second was the H's fault but I had extra parts on hand. Yuneec customer service is great, but my buddy with the Phantom has never had to contact DJI. Wish there was a good market for a used H with three extra batteries.

And the price is only going to keep coming down on the H.
