To retrieve Quads from a tree

    I did not make this video but I did think it was ingenius as I plan to make one for myself. Thought I'd pass it along, sorry if it has already been posted.

    Personally I use a telescopic flag pole with a hook cable tied to the end. Works wonders.

    LOL personally I don't fly into trees anymore :) I used to hate getting my little WLToys V686G stuck up in the trees. Those small quads do not like wind :)

    Well so far it seems that my Q500 has a faulty tree magnet fitted as it hasn't had an 'aerial landing' yet. However the tree magnet in my Blade 350QX seems to be particularly effective as that has managed to find the tall bushes at least 4 times so far.

    Always best to play for these things. Nothing worse than your bird flying into a tree with no way to recover and you being many miles from home and having to leave it there and hope it doesn't go missing while you get the bits for recovery.
