Had about 20 minutes of video down at the marina today, for some reason it just disappeared. Seems it stopped recording about 40 seconds into the video. I wear corrective eye glasses that are tinted and really never noticed this before but with bright sunshine and the tint it just makes it so much harder to see the LCD screen. Guess I never saw the red warning about it stopping. I did manage to get a short video that I took a screen grab from. Sleeping Giant and the grain ship off in the distance.

Both are screen grabs from the short video so could be just the camera angle and the amount of sunlight.

Beautiful pics. What lake is that? Or is it a different body of water?

That is the most western shipping port on Lake Superior called Thunder Bay.

I love JB52's part of the world but you can't beat shorts and t-shirts on Christmas day!
I wish it was a little cooler down here and not have to have the AC on! Weather 12.23.16.jpg

Looks like we're going to have a very White Christmas! (Manitoba)
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement that blankets the southern part of the province, where an intense Colorado low is expected to blowing snow starting late on Christmas and continuing through Boxing Day.

Expect winter storm advisories, blowing snow warnings or even a blizzard warning, depending on the duration of the winds and lack of visibility, says CBC meteorologist John Sauder.

"It's looking more and more like the storm will hit hardest in the southeast with upwards of 30 to 40 centimetres of snow and winds gusting to 60 km/h or 70 km/h Sunday night into Monday," he said.
