    Q500 4K with ST10+
    I currently have installed:
ST10+: ANDROID VERSION: 4.0.3, KERNEL VERSION: 3.0.8, HARDWARE VERSION: P1.4
    BUILD NUMBER: st10+v01b30c
    Q500: Q500_v1.07_10_05_2015_no_airport.bin

Which ST10+ and Q500 firmware is best for range?
    Should I downgrade to ST10+v01b24c
    Stay with st10+v01b30c
    Or upgrade to st10+v01b31c

For the Q500 what is the difference between the following:
    Q500_v1.07_09_28_2015_4k
    Q500_v1.07_10_05_2015_no_airport
    Q500_v1.07_10_05_2015_no_max_altitude

What is different between firmwares, is there a description I can read somewhere for each firmware as to what it changes?

I have read older firmware for the ST10+ has higher power, is that true?
Some say the older ST10+ firmware has fewer restrictions for no fly zone but it seems its the q500 firmware that controls the no fly zones. Does the ST10+ firmware have anything to do with no fly zones?

    Thanks!
    ~Kevin.

To many variables...I figure if it is working great then there is no reason to change anything, I have never changed my firmware on the drone or the controller, and have had them for five years now..I have no idea what new restrictions the new firmware may put on my flying, and do not want to find out ....

The firmware does not affect the RF power. The only difference in power settings is on the camera. The EU and UK version of the camera firmware has a lower power setting to comply with regulations in those countries.

The NFZ database is the same for all versions of the firmware.
Ver 1.07 allows you to change the max altitude using the GUI.

Thanks! Q500_v1.07_10_05_2015_no_airport now loaded. Verified max altitude can now be set to 1000ft in GUI. After gyro and compass calibration was completed she flies great and is very stable.
