    Interesting video.

What camera settings (resolution) did you use?
I've a 4K and notice that there is still slight barrell distortion on my pictures but I didn't see any on yours.

You also had a still from "up high" - wonder what resolution that was.

I know that if you shoot at 120FPS the field of view is less and there is then no distortion.

    Thanks
    Dave.

David thanks for your comments, I did not notice the bird during filming and only noticed it during the editing, I thought it was was a heron which would figure as there is a river running past directly below.

To be honest I'm not sure what the still photo settings were apart from it was saved only in jpeg, and scaled to fit 1920 x 1080, in fact there is three photo's in the video first one is inside the abbey looking up through the in roof which is distorted noticeably during scaling, this one was also brightened up a bit, the second photo is the notice display board, and finally the very last shot in the video, all where scaled to fit, the video setting was set at 1080p 60fps and colour balance set for cloudy and locked, as I have only recently acquired the Q500 4k its still all very much experimental with the settings at the moment, especially as the weather has been very dull and overcast, what I have noticed compared to my go pro hero 3 black and hero 4 silver on both of these cameras produce video which is far brighter and sharper and more colorful, I'm hoping this improves when the sun decides to shine, but at the moment my Q500 4k is not producing what I'm sure its capable of doing it could be a mixture of wrong camera settings coupled with dull overcast days, I have tried during post edit to sharpen the video a tiny bit and alter the colour & brightness which looked ok but when rendered out there was visible artifacts during playback so had to re-edit and turn back to original settings on sharpness & colour, hopefully another member that's had the same experience can offer some better settings.

I shoot all my videos in 4K, raw and if possible use the manual settings, ISO 100 and the fps set to give me the correct exposure. I plan my shots so the light is consistent. By shooting in 4K you will get the best quality possible with the CGO3. I edit my footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and output the final video in 1080p. Shooting in 4K also allows you to zoom in electronically because of the size of the 4K video file. I also color correct, sharpen the image and adjust exposure if necessary. Adobe has cine settings that I use as well. It makes the color pop and helps with contrast.
Here is an example of shooting in 4K. You can view in 4K or 1080p. View in 1080p to see how the quality is better.

Thanks for your reply and suggested settings, I think some of my problems at the moment is poor quality light during filming, and not finding the CGO3 sweet spot for dull overcast conditions.

I'm rather new to arial photography but I like it very much. I record always in 1.78:1 (3840x2160) 4K and use Premiere Pro to convert it to FHD 30fps. I tend not to adjust the video. I prefer how it was recorded. I only cut the video and use transistions.

    See one of my examples:

Don't mind the compression artefacts that this site and Youtube may deliver.

Nice video and composition well done, I also use adobe premiere pro but I still think a lot depends on available light on the day of filming for colours and contrast to pop especially with this 4K camera, all of my videos on my youtube channel until recently were filmed with a phantom 1.5 with just a 2 axis gimbal and & gopro hero 3 black 1080p 60fps and uploaded to you tube 1080p 30fps, my past experience with that setup my gopro seems to handle lower lighting conditions better, but they all suffered to some degree with yaw problems due to only being 2axis gimbal, but that said the Yuneec is way better and far more stable platform to video from.
